The Practice

I work at the intersection of data strategy, governance and organisational transformation. My practice is built around a single conviction: data only becomes a strategic asset when the structures, people and processes around it are designed to treat it as one. That conviction has shaped every engagement I have taken on, from defining enterprise data strategies for financial institutions to deploying governance frameworks that hold up under regulatory scrutiny and operational pressure.

The Track Record

My background spans top-tier advisory and technology consulting firms, where I have worked embedded within data domains of major financial institutions, leading governance transformations, designing data quality frameworks and driving the organisational change that makes those frameworks stick. I have conducted over 30 governance maturity workshops with business data domains, led end-to-end BCBS239-aligned framework deployments and contributed to the largest banking data migration programme in recent Spanish history. I have also designed and implemented enterprise governance platforms including Collibra, and developed AI use case evaluation frameworks with structured ROI assessment.

The Approach

What defines my way of working is the ability to operate across the full vertical of a transformation. I am as comfortable presenting a governance roadmap to a CDO as I am sitting with a data engineering team to define validation controls.
